Because Peacock is owned by NBCUniversal (which is owned by Comcast), millions of users originally received Peacock Premium for free as an ISP perk. When Comcast ended that massive free promotion, users were abruptly transitioned into paid billing loops.
Today, the biggest hurdle to canceling Peacock is simply finding out who is actually charging your credit card.
Method 1: Canceling via Xfinity (Comcast)
If your Peacock charge shows up on your monthly internet/cable bill, you must use Xfinity's dedicated hub to remove the add-on.
- Go to xfinity.com/yoursubscriptions (The Xfinity Subscription Hub).
- Sign in with your primary Xfinity ID and password.
- Locate the Peacock tile in your list of active services.
- Click Manage or Unsubscribe.
- Confirm your choice on the final confirmation screen.
Method 2: Canceling Directly on Peacock
If you see a charge from "PEACOCK TV" on your bank statement, you are billed directly.
Go to PeacockTV.com
Open a web browser on your phone or computer. Do not use the Smart TV app.
Open Your Account
Click your Profile Avatar in the top right corner and select Account.
Navigate to Plans
Go to the Plans & Payment tab.
Change or Cancel Plan
Click Change or Cancel Plan at the bottom of the page. Select "Cancel Plan" and follow the prompts to decline their downgrade offers.
Track the Confusing Subscriptions
Between Xfinity, Apple, Roku, and Direct billing, tracking down who has your money is exhausting. Trackery organizes it all into one beautiful dashboard with cancellation links right next to the price.
