To cancel Disney+, first identify who appears on your billing receipt. A direct Disney+ plan is managed in your Disney account. A plan included with a bundle or billed by another provider must be canceled through that provider.
Cancel a direct Disney+ subscription
- Open DisneyPlus.com in a computer or mobile browser and sign in.
- Select your profile, then choose Account.
- Under Subscription, select your Disney+ plan.
- Choose Cancel Subscription and complete the confirmation steps.
Disney+ normally remains available through the current billing period. Annual plans, promotional offers, minimum terms, and bundles can follow different timing, so read the confirmation screen carefully.
When Disney+ is billed by Apple or Google
If Disney+ does not show a cancel button, look for the provider named on your receipt.
- Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Disney+ → Cancel Subscription.
- Google Play: Play Store → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Disney+ → Cancel.
For a Roku, Amazon, carrier, or bundle subscription, use that partner’s account page. The Disney+ app cannot cancel a subscription controlled by a third party.
Does canceling Disney+ delete the account?
No. Canceling the subscription stops the next renewal but normally does not delete your Disney account. Deleting an account is a separate request and can affect other Disney services using the same login.
What to do after canceling
Keep the cancellation confirmation, note the access end date, and check the next statement. If a charge appears after that date, compare it with your receipt and contact the billing provider.
